Emily has a Boyfriend!

 I feel a little bad that I am so stinkin excited that soccer is done for the season.  The kids love to play and I know it's good for them but honestly I am glad to have my life back.  Spending 5 days a week at the soccer fields was just a little much for this mama.  Hopefully the weather will be nicer for the fall season.  It was kind of a cold spring season. 

Emily has a "boyfriend" in her class at school.  She told me that Weston is her Batman and she is his Batgirl.  Isn't that the cutest thing EVER!  She even told Douglas that they are going to get married when they turn 18 but he told her she isn't allowed to get married until she's 28.  I don't remember having a boyfriend in kindergarten but I do remember I had a boyfriend in maybe 2nd grade that gave me his mom's wedding ring for an engagement ring (of course my mom made me give it back).  Anyways, here are some pics of the love birds :o)

Easter 2011

I can't believe Easter has already come and gone...where has the year gone already???  We had a fun Easter at our house.  The kids had a lot of fun looking for Easter eggs and they absolutely LOVED their baskets.  After having a delicious dinner at my parents' house we did the "resurrection eggs" with the kids to help them understand the importance of Easter and the important role that our Savior plays in our lives.
